Grandparents and other relatives raising children in Oklahoma may face challenges as they care for children, sometimes stepping into that care unexpectedly and without resources. The Department of Human Services Aging Services Division coordinates the GRANDfamilies Initiative to provide education to these families and works to share other resources, services and programs that may be of help to them. DHS program and services applications are available at the DHS Human Services Centers throughout the state, often referred to as DHS county offices,.
